After I organised an unforgettable trip to Nepal for my friends, I realised this could be a transformative travel experience for Nepalis like myself, living outside of Nepal. That’s how Tracing Nepal began back in 2014. Chandrika and I have juggled the trips; planning, budgeting, creating and delivering it as Experience Leaders. We wear all the hats! I am so excited to go beyond one trip a year and offer three trips for 2024 – and also have trips that are open for all nationalities.

When Lex and I embarked on this journey, our goal was simple: to reintroduce Nepal to its diaspora through an immersive travel experience fostering volunteerism, community engagement and self-discovery. It’s surreal to think that a decade has passed since Tracing Nepal’s inception during which we have successfully completed six programs, bringing over fifty-five team members from all across the world. Our dream was always to make this trip inclusive, reaching beyond the Nepali diaspora to embrace individuals from all nationalities, which is now a reality for the TN2024 edition. I am also thrilled about the three distinct itineraries we’re offering throughout 2024 and eagerly anticipate all the incredible adventures and milestones that lie ahead.
